2021 NCHER Spring Legal Meeting – (Virtual)
Details
The half-day meeting will cover several legal issues facing higher education finance participants, including a timely presentation on those issues involving federal student loan debt cancellation and mandatory assignment
The agenda also includes two sessions covering state law developments – new state privacy laws and new state servicing laws – and a session on what we expect to see at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau under its new leadership. One area that will be covered is CFPB initiatives in the fair lending area. The program should be of interest to attorneys and non-attorneys alike.

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS
Members NOT taking advantage of the Unlimited Registration option, please log-in to the NCHER website with your assigned username and password. This will adjust your rate to the discounted member rate. Once logged in please follow the registration prompts until your registration has been confirmed. Non-members should simply just click the register today button below and follow the registration prompts.
For organizations taking advantage of the Unlimited Option, please contact Stefanie Gramm (sgramm@ncher.org) to request the option and receive an organization invoice. Then complete the Unlimited Registration Template with the employees you would like registered. Registration names not provided in the template will not be registered.

Dress is remote casual.
CANCELLATION POLICY
All cancellations must be in writing to the NCHER office and addressed to conferences@ncher.org prior to the start of the conference . Fees from prior conferences/conventions for your organization will be deducted from any refunds. Refunds will be processed 30 days after the conference.
